to be honest i dont care what you use for a recharge button or maybe even put it as a command like " !charge" so a loading bar will show up showing its charging up and players are able to ether wait for a full charge or use whatever it charged up to kind of thing but for them to use one battery for the whole campaign is a bit much unless its set to a very high power count o.o

or make it recharge while your ducking so they can still move but very slowly while they wait for there light to be useble again =O
A new cvar:
After the player shoves (without hitting anything), recharges the battery.

About safe room transitions:
The game actually progresses so fast that I don't see any need for the battery to be replenished in the safe room.
You can set the power of the battery or adjust the flashing frequency of the flashlight by adjusting the related cvar.

If you still want it, I'd add a cvar.

Add:
Maybe give the player an optional battery initialization in the safe room, with the value of the battery level controlled by a new set of cvars (less battery range?).

any way of using the full battery to super charge it and use the full battery into a flashbang in a small cone infront you draining the battery to stun all threats infront of you given by one of my players on my server =D

        - The plugin now uses a new way to initialize the battery and check the client's correspondence with the character every server frame, This fixes some issues caused by players idle or changer characters.
        - Fixed "Exception reported: Entity X (X) is invalid" being thrown when a player joins a server.Thanks to "sonic155" for reporting.
        - New feature: hold down "duck + shove" or "shove" buttons to charge the battery. Requested by "sonic155".
        - New feature: Optionally limit survivor bots' flashlights and batteries as well, and set how quickly they drain.
        - New Cvars: l4d2_RealismFlashLight_Bot, l4d2_RealismFlashLight_Bot_Buff, l4d2_RealismFlashlight_Charge,l4d2_RealismFlashlight_Charge_Key, l4d2_RealismFlashlight_Charge_Second.
        - Add console commands: sm_rfl_view  sm_rfl_set, Use them to view and set the character's flashlight battery status.
        - Various changes to the code.

cant seem to charge the battery while ducking and pushing back or even pushing back alone does it matter if the duck is on toggle ? i get this
