Hello Hard-core programmers,

Is it possible to make an PLUGIN to BANN by MAC address ??

Since it is LEGAL to retrieve the MAC address(Usually ISPs do) & there are many programs/scripts available to retrieve the remote MAC address.

BANN by MAC address sounds BETTER than BANN by IP, since many players uses dynamic IP addresses, If we BANN them by IP, just they will dis-connect & re-connect their internet connection & voila AGAIN THEY CAN CONNECT & do their MISCHIEFNESS again n again.

Hopes somebody will come up with an +ve result..

Getting STEAM is NOT an solution , but think of non-Steamers also!!

Actually non-steamers are more as compare to STEAMERs.

Yes, it is.

Those who use the non-steam version of counter-strike (except for those who still use legal WON) are breaking the law.
AlliedModders do not support this, for obvious reasons.

I suggest that you stop talking about non-steam like that or you may end up getting banned.
I've seen that happen a lot of times before.

Also, AMX Mod X can not find a clients MAC address.

Yups, Me too against illegal non-steam, I got STEAM & Non-Steam directly from Valve(bought online) & they are 100% LEGAL.

But try to Understand the topic, here I'm NOT AT ALL Encouraging any non-steam activities, If you think like that, Then i'm sorry & Anyway you have all powers to delete this topic n even BANN me.

Non-Steam is not from Valve in any way and is considered illegal. The only legal Non-Steam is CS1.5 and below.
