Also, display in the working frames the size on each vector of the selected/creating block
And most important, i reapeat, please do something about the texture loading.. it's killing my pc... it also takes 5 minutes to load them

PC specs: 4gb ram / Core 2 Duo

What the heck? I have crap loads of and they load instantly.

PC specs: 3gb ram / Dual Core 3.00gHz

Any settings you may have checked around there?
I got around 15k Textures, and it takes me 5 minutes to load them

Well, maybe the texture quality? (Memory usage) Mine's one snap after the lowest. I have probably around 8k and they load just instantly.

Well, i had it on max, now i have put it 1 step lower, it loads in 10 seconds...
The devs should check the texture quality, one step higher should not increase the loading time from 10 seconds to 5 minutes...

I also used end task on the application because it froze while loading the textures on max quality... my hard disk usage remained 100% even after 10 minutes from when the application got closed... also the application wasn't anymore present in the processes tab all this time

Any other than this, it works great... one suggestion i forgot to mention tho, in any case, for the dev to not have to read all the previous post for all the suggestions, i will post them all here, later edit: nevermind, i already made one, tell me if you like it or if you want something different




1. When applying a blue background color texture, it should automaticaly set the blue part invisible ( like in sledge )
2. Displaying on the working screen the length of each vector of the selected block, somewhere near it's edges ( like in sledge )
3. Implement Armoury Entity in the default FGD
4. As default build programs automaticaly use the zhlt ones
5. Apply Null Texture Button

And ohh yeah, when will we have the next update? i like the new texture tab window
Btw, i created a new icon for jackhammer ( from scratch ) im waiting for suggestions or opinions, if you don't like it let me know and i'll make a new one

Freaking awesome, I've always wanted something similar, more freedom with creating objects. Could be really awesome for creating terrain.
Is the version containing that feature out yet or is it still in development? If so, when is the release date?
