Not sure if this actually has anything to do with the latest CS:GO update but players on one of my friend's servers have been complaining about random 'ghosts' appearing while they are playing creating lag spikes.
He asked me to try and solve the issue.

Yep they added ghosts with the latest update but i dont think they would be causing lag spikes considering the fact that they're sorta rare.

has to do with hooking the player_death event, and valve not caring.
