It is my understanding that:

Pre: always execute before start of the gameframe
Post: always execute after the gameframe
unspecified: execute normally during the same gameframe

I could be wrong, but this is what I have come to think makes sense.

Pre, Post, PostNoCopy. Post is technically what you call 'unspecified' and by default is what most hooked events use.
