Hello all. I have been a long time l4d2 player (over 7000 hours) as well as server owner. I would like to change the settings on my current server with as little addons as possbile. For example modify the server so two tanks are spawning bigger hordes as well as more Special Infected. Is there a way to do this and how? Are there any tutorials how to do the scripting for l4d2 and how to change the way that game behaves. I have played on some heavily modified servers. One of them is well know group Carnival of Souls. Now how does one do such changes? I have tried to ask the owner of the server and group but he seems to be russian and didn't understand my english. I have also asked some steam friends around and they said that "scripting" is needed. But how to script, what files and so on? I have so many questions. I am not affraid of reading as well as programming. used to program a bit in C/C++. Are there any tutorials or pointer on the internet about this? I know this is an old game, but imo it is one of the best coop/team survival games out there. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
