Hello,

Got two questions.
Is it possible to get the hltv ip, how would this be done?

I am trying to redirect spectators to hltv.

You can't redirect players.

Still possible with "-snip-" I tested after CS Client update.
It doesn't matter. Redirection is no longer supported by Valve or by this community. Therefore, you should not post any methods to do so.

So xRedirect is officially dead? That's stupid.

huh?
Are those new rules?
Ofcourse it is possible to connect the client to another server.

Doing spectators to hltv is for a good purpose of clanmatches.
This should be supported and implanted by valve themselves.

Valve has blocked sending various commands to the client, connect being one of them. Yes there are way to get around Valve's detection method, but they are not supported

alternatively how can I get hltvs ip and show it to clients then after 5seconds kick spectators.

The purpose is to fight ghosting during clan matches.
Ghosting is when a team mate goes into spectate mode and gives away enemy locations through teamspeak.
Surely it cant be valves idea to prevent communities from doing something about this?

This way the goal of anti-cheating is achieved while not breaking any rules.

You think a player connected to HLTV can't ghost?
