First of all bull shit on you did not touch anything....it does not just break out of no where.

Second do not use root....like ever this is common sence

And last reupload the web files (not the config...) to remove any changes that have been made

I said you should not use root, and with out a long explanation it is a security thing.

No it did not, you had to of changed something....you might of thought it had nothing to do with your error but you changed something on that install.

You should not delete the root users, since you most often need them for some stuff. But you should make a new user that is name "hlstats" or something that only has rights to the database that it needs to.

NOO It can't be true... what I did to solve the error was to create a new user and database and upload all the files again ... but then again the error will be there... heeelp
