cannot get latest builds to work

We are running an earlier 1.1 build on our tf2 server and it runs good. But when trying to update to the latest 1.1 or 1.2 build, sourcemod will not start. It shows metamod 1.7 running in hlsw but not the sourcemod. So then I put the earlier 1.1 build back in and it runs ok then. When I update I always over-write the files. Has something changed where I cant do this anymore?

If MetaMod is running then you may wish to doublecheck that the sourcemod.vdf is in your metamod folder (/addons/metamod/).

the sourcemod.vdf is always there. I tried again last night. completely removed sourcemod and then put the latest 1.2 in... still wouldn't start. so then I went back to an earlier version of 1.1 and it works again. So wierd.

I can comfirm this. Updated DOD:S linux server with MM:S 1.7.0 and hg1.2.0.2460. Just overwrote files from 1.1 branch, Metamod loads fine, sourcemod will not load at all. I will see if I can go back and see if it works.

Edit:when I type meta list in console...I get

Are you using a Linux OS as well?

We use a linux server.
