    Connect Rules - by killman2639

This Plugin function is when the client connect it freezes him and prints to the chat the rules, Then it creates a menu that says "do you agree to our rules" if yes then the client is allowed to stay and lets the player move, if not kick the client . Now with join sounds

How to add your own rules?

To add your own rules you have to goto Mod\addons\sourcemod\translations and in that folder open the "ConnectRules.phrases.txt" there replace the "* Your rule here" with your custom rule (depending on your language).

    Server cvar

sm_connectrules 1/0 enables the plugin (a .cfg file will be created in "\mod\cfg\sourcemod". File name: ConnectRules_config.cfg)
sm_connectrules_sounds 1/0 Connect sound status on/off, Default if 0 so if you want a sound change it to 1
sm_connectrules_sound connect sound name (has to be in sound\custom\filename.extension)

    Change Log

    • Added sound and freeze a player bug fixed

Good evening, are that it is possible that the display rules are in the form of menu ?
For my part I would use that if the display of rules is displayed as a menu.

Your plugin am interested especially for multilanguage support

If so you have the ability to add customer order "!rules" or "rules" in the chat for the display of rules ?

    Thank you for your understanding.

And a kick/ban both teams if the player not accept the rules?

Like "Read and Accept The Rules before Can Join!"

And ban team i say is put directly on Spec and prevent from teamjoin before accept....

The sounds will be awsome to advertise abou rules menu =D

    Nice !

Anyway the Rules could be added into the menu above the Yes/No (So they stay visible longer) ?

Also would it be possible to make this so the plugin only asked on the client's on the first connect to the server and not with every map change ?

Maybe a flag option so Admin and Members would not see it ?

    Hello killman2639,

can you pls update the plugin?

The players are not freezed in tf2 so they can play on the server without pressing a number to accept or not.

Next thing is what Cuz is saying "Anyway the Rules could be added into the menu above the Yes/No (So they stay visible longer) ?" is better then in the Chat because 90% of players do not read the chat.

I hope you read this and you can make an update

    cheers,
    Shona

    Hi all.

I cant make this work im afraid.

The warning comes up, but you can ignore it ( press 0 ) and then nothing happens.

Ive tried the re-compile but that makes no difference.

Can we remove the "0" - Exit Menu option? It seems pointless having it there.

Also, how can I change the time delay from the rules from dissappearing?

    Any ideas fellas?

    Many many thanks

Do you know how to add more lines, becouse the 10 lines aren't enough.
becouse i want to say to chat Banned weapons and I want more lines then just 10...
OR Tell me the addon or plugin what is just banning weapons (I mean like the player cannot even have it in the hand)
