i recently rented a Counterstrike source server form gameservers.com, and tried to install metamod source on it, version 1.4.2. the server runs fine until i put the line to load source mm in gameinfo.txt:
Game |gameinfo_path|addons/metamod/bin
after i add this line, i cannot find the server listed anwhere, even if i input the ip address into add new favorite server. i have been able to get other mods like gungame working, but sourcemm just wont load. im pretty sure that the server is windows, but not positive

Nope...if you rented it, its most likely a linux server. Make sure you have the .so file in there instead of the dll file.

It should be GameBin, not Game
