Hi Guys,

I hate to make this post, but it seems to be the most relevant (and most viewed) forum that could reach the people that can help me.

My server has issues with Mako Reactor. Our bosses are so overpowered that people come and tell me that they have played on other servers and none of them are as bad as ours (boss wise). It's nearly impossible to win. I'm using the latest map release version for sure and here are the addons I have installed:

That's a lot of plugins. I can't see any obvious plugins that would modify health. Kyle's health fix plugin doesn't count, because it doesn't actually modify it.

What do you mean by overpowered? Knock back? Speed? Maybe you've enabled health regen in some classes, or it's regenerating too fast? Also check hit group knock back multipliers.

Classes that have high speed need a bit higher knock back, because high speed sort of eliminate knock back when they're moving towards humans. It's all about fine tuning settings.

Yea, this was happening before the latest CSS Update too, so it's got to be a config issue maybe? I don't know it's very frustrating. And I mean it takes longer to kill the boss than any other server like his health is almost double what it should be (or is on other servers).

I am not using classes at all. Just simple zombie config options for regular zombies and the mother zombie. No health regen is applied either.

Why not just ask another server owner what their boss hp and knock back are, then compare?

Boss is not zombie. This map has a Boss fight. A monster appears and all CT's have to shoot it, while the zombies wait in a 'jail'. If they don't get enough hits in a certain amount of time, the 'boss' will nuke them.

Some servers have had this problem of being very hard to kill the boss, like bG (this case) or pF (Kyle's server).

I have no experience at all in source sdk or anything u guys talk about, just felt like registering for saying this, and to suggest that this problem might come for the bullets not going through other ct's bodies. I mean, if the you are shooting with a CT in the front, your bullets won't hit the boss so, even if you are aiming at it you will never kill it.

Anyway, there must be something else Hope u can find it out

If several humans are spamming bullets on the boss I suppose it could be caused by lag on the server, so that some bullets aren't registered. I don't know how many players you have when they fight the boss, but lots of humans spamming bullets is pretty expensive.

The thing is, my server runs very smoothly and that's why a lot of players enjoy playing on my servers because it doesn't lag heavily on large maps. It's just this one issue that causes problems. I have no idea where to begin to fix it .

Are you sure it's not a issue with the map itself, and it's fixed in a newer version?

I think just player play game without cooperation. Not plugin
My server's Mako reator is work fine and nice clear either.

I'm sure There is no problem in map or plugins.

Tell player.

"Plz, Cooperation to block zombie, use element with nice timing blablabla "

I've seen other servers mess with damage to help players. However, this is beyond ZR's scope.

Your problem is the map.
