1. you need to enable HLTV
2. you need to put on an plugin that lets HLTV users join T/CT
3. Models for HLTV so everyone will be able to see the HLTV player otherwise HLTV will be invisible

not really an Tutorial but we need help on this developement. found this out when i had HLTV on and i revive the hltv guy and he was invisible

jajaja, you need to hack all array dimension from the HL engine.

More than 32 players on a cs server? Seems like overkill to me.

An easier way would to have 2 servers and imitate the players of the 2 servers as bots. So there really would be 32 players and 32 bots on both servers, but what the players would see are 64 players.

A few other plugins would be plugins like cross-server chat.

This was discussed before in another thread, but was never done due to how much work it took.

Won't work because engine has many places where it can't pass 32 limit, for example there are places where even id 32 does not work correctly...

Impossible.
It will be never done because it can't work properly. It would lag as hell. Imagine shooting somebody from the server and how much data needs to be transferred from client -> server -> server -> client.

But where do you base your "impossible" on the original posters idea? Have you tested it?

Why it would lag like hell ? on a 1000fps server you have very little lag(1-2ms ?) so It is possible that it would run quite smooth, but it would need a really beefy system and ALOT of code.

If the two server working together is on the same computer the latency shouldn't be the problem.
