I don't think it's reasonable to ban people for equipping an item. Most people who have halos don't even realise why they've got them until they're told, since they likely didn't hear about the idler.

It's probably the worst-looking hat in the game, yet everybody is wearing one. It also stirs up all sorts of drama from various Steam groups who've decided to not heal anyone with a halo.

Change the CheckInventory code to this:
Code:
public Action:CheckInventory(Handle:timer)
{
	new edict, itemOwner;
	while((edict = FindEntityByClassname(edict, "tf_wearable_item")) != -1)
	{
		if(GetEntProp(edict, Prop_Send, "m_iItemDefinitionIndex") == 125) {
			itemOwner = GetEntPropEnt(edict, Prop_Send, "m_hOwnerEntity");
			PrintToChat(itemOwner, "\x01Your \x04halo\x01 was \x05removed\x01.");
			RemoveEdict(edict);
			edict++;
		}
	}
}
I didn't include an explanatory message because it would appear every time they respawn or use a resupply cabinet, which is very spammy.

Jeez, why the hate? I mean so much butthurt over something this silly? So they got a halo, big effin deal. It's just a stupid game. Who cares what hat you got. I remember when the idea of hats was floating around as a rumor, everyone was saying that it was going to be like "World of Team Fortress 2" or some crap like that. And now this? Seriously, if you guys get that butthurt over something this silly, you really do need to get out more.

Also, Valve has already made up their minds regarding this, it was the same way with using programs to unlock all of the weapons and they removed all of their Items for 30 or so days.

I think I have said my peace. Feel free to flame and/or shun me for my opinion.

It IS cheating because there is no actual person doing it without having anything like a program helping him. Even worse, there are bots who do it for players.

So its cheating if you get the other halo.

Is there a way to remove the halo glow? as it still appears.

Great plugin btw, I use on our servers as I'm fed up with Spy's wondering how players can see them whilst cloaked.
