Obviously it matters, the plugin reads the file and copies the data to the menu, so when it doesn't find something the menu gets bugged.

I think the plugin should change the parse to an if statement to prevent this

I could try to change it, or people could change to fit my new method. Im not forcing anyone to use the new version (apart from the fact that I removed the old link.), its your choice to use my plugin or not. If you want it to work you will need to update your .ini file to work with the current version of the plugin. If people are having troubles downloading things off of your server, or it says that there version is incorrect opposed to yours, then the problem is obviously with the server.

To me it sounds like you copied a bunch of hat models from your computer and put them on your server. Its possible that some of the models may be corrupt, or slightly different then the ones other people have, and therefore you are able to connect to your server fine (since there exactly the same as the ones you have), yet others who have existing models with the same name are not.

An easy fix to force people to download the exact same ones that you have, simply give them a unique name that people shouldn't already have (although that goes against the whole point of making this update...) making them download them instead of trying to compare them to the ones they have that may differ.

Please make sure you have the .ini file written out properly before blaming more things on the plugin, when it sounds a lot like the fault is in the user.

hat_random has a bug when a player enters the server it to get a hat from admin, can resolve this?

Now for the christmas-time I was thinking:
Is there any chance that I can just "force" the santa-hat onto every player (so they keep it all the time) ?

was trying to remove all the hats except the santa heat and then putting hats_random 1 , but that doesn't seem to work

What about make the format to :
"MODEL NAME" "HAT NAME" "ADMINONLY" "ACTIVATED*"

*(1=on/0=off) Instead of typing "//" infront of all hats you don't want at the moment
If you don't type 0 or 1 it should be off. ( I guess it is at adminonly, too? )
