Hi,
I'm relatively new to CS:GO servers. I've been installing and managing CS:S servers for a few years and that seems to be childishly easy compared to CS:GO servers.
I'm a part of a organization that runs a few game-servers for our members and because all of the administrators don't know their way around a command prompt or terminal we use TcAdmin. It's almost fool proof ;)
We have recently installed a CS:GO server using the normal procedure with TcAdmin (Create new server -> CS:GO), then we changed the tickrate to 128 using -tickrate 128 for the startup options.
However, when people play on the server they get high var (0.01 - 1) which feels like the server is lagging a tiny bit. I've tried more solutions than I can remember but some of them are,
- Changing the rate from ~80000 to 128000
- Change tickrate from 128 to 64
The server has 4 cores @ ~3 GHz 1Gbit/s Internet access & 32GB RAM.
A test CS:GO server is available to test: 46.59.102.219:27030
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Regards
Fidde
