It is possible to set tickrate to 100, but bandwidth figures are hard to get. It would be comparable to a CSGO server running 20 slots.

Are there any downsides using lets say 60 tickrate compared to the hardcoded 30 / 33?

I read somewhere that the SI / special infected had an side effect of attacking faster or something like that?

The only argument that I’ve had is that boomer’s attack range is increased by a little but it’s hardly noticeable. Rest of the things can be fixed by tickrate patches plugin.

Is there a fix for the boomer vomit range offset for windows servers. I am using the non hardcoded version and boomer vomit range is greatly reduced. If so i can ask my provider to update their installer for this great addition. From my understanding the hard coded 60 tickrate enabler has the windows offset for the boomer vomit patched but the other does not. Thanks in advance.

Do a little experiment for me as I don't run Windows server. Increase the server's tickrate to 100 and notice if the range increases or not. I'm certain that it is linked with the tickrate, but haven't done any testing on windows to be sure.

BTW both versions have boomer vomit patches, unless a recent update broke them.

You are making the game run at double the speed or even faster. Yes, that will result in higher CPU usage.
