I upgraded to the latest sourcemod version (and metamod as well)

One of the problems I'm encountering is thus

I have maps.ini in /addons/sourcemod/configs

and also have maplist.txt in the tf directory

I did copy over my old sourcmod config from 17xx version to use but don't see anything off in it

I would guess you have old and new SM files mixing together, for example, old .smx files trying to use the updated SM natives... or the other way round.

I suggest you get a fresh build from the website and make sure everything is up to date

all plugins were deleted prior to upgrading - the only thing I kept around was the config files
