i'm trying to get this to work, so i just left everything in on default settings. i changed nothing. MM 1.8, SM 1.3. i've got a server from lowpings.net

but whenever anyone joins the server, it crashes.

i'm new at the whole server running thing, and i would appreciate any help.

is this a *facepalm* moment? i followed the instructions, what do i need to change? i know i need to change the steam ID, but leaving it alone would not cause it to crash, would it?

Ya know it would have been nice if somewhere in this forum post you made mention of what the cvar is for enable/disable

Update on the progress of 1.3:
Version 1.3 was planned to be released this past weekend. However, just a few hours before, A bug was reported in the TF2Items_GiveNamedItem native (details here). Depending on the decision on how to proceed, release is probably delayed until next week.
You can voice your opinion by commenting on that issue, you can also now login to the bug tracker with an OpenID if you do not wish to register.
Also, since it's not very intuitive, you comment on tracker issues by clicking 'update'.

Don't know if you know this or not, but the http://tracker.limetech.org/projects...items_game.txt page you posted doesn't load the entire page, it stops at around the 16th attribute.

Also, awesome news on the update, can't wait!

It's working fine here, try using Ctrl-F5 to clear the cache, or you can use the 'download' link at the top.
