on a few of my heros which I made super high levels, since I updated to 1.17.6 they are now a different level than shown in shconfig

ex navy_level in shconfig is 18
navy_level in cvarlist is 15

not sure why, I am at work, but it may be reading it off what I put in the sma/amx and not the cvars

maybe you should try changing maps, unless you already did

I downloaded 1.17.6 today and tried it out, it turns out that the shconfig.cfg is not being iniatilized i think. Because none of the custom settings that i've changed in it are being folllowed even after i changed maps. This is messed someone plz fix and post the new one beause i forgot to backup my old files.

ya i get the gay thing to i have things in my shconfig and they just arent loading (amx 9.8 ;) but thats probally one reason y the mercy xp aint workin

are you sure you have the shconfig in the right place? and if it is in the console type exec shconfig.cfg and it should load off the shconfig

yes its in the right place and it tells me it cannot exec the shconfig.cfg file

if its saying that its not in the right place put it inside of your amx folder and try to execute it again it should work if not type in exec addons/amx/shconfig.cfg

edit your posts with what amx versions you guys are using... so that jtp can figure this problem out faster...

I'm assuming this is only a problem with amx 0.9.8a...


Q: Chivas - on map change do you see in console if it loads the shconfig twice? (if it is amx 0.9.8a, it should)

I would love to tell you that vittu, but I had my admins posting like crazy in my forums that all hell was breaking loose with everyone using heros they shouldn't in my server

if nobody else can answer this, I will reinstall 1.17.6 and try to get you the answer for the sake of the mod, sorry I wasn't able to get it for you before I switched back to 1.17.5

ps, as I modified the first post, I do run amx 9.8a and latest metamod

i think its just the dedicated server. cuzz when i used flashfxp it worked fine for me. flash had the same problem too and i think i told him its prob dedicated server
