I have my own dedicated csgo server. I perma banned my friend (as a test), and the command "!unban <hisSteamID>" doesnt work, it comes back with "sm_unban failed". I get the same error when i try the unban command via console as well. My sourcebans webserver isnt displaying his ban either. Banned_user.cfg isnt displaying anything as well. But he gets unbanned on server restart.

because the ban is not saving to the SQL, your gameserver is not communicating to it so your ban is not being displayed.

Trust me i spent hours fixinng this yesterday!

if you type in console rcon sm plugins reload sbpp_main.smx it will show you the SQL Errors
