Thanks for answer and thanks for that link but i'm not sure even if it is, its's possible to convert it for HL1 because i see in L4D2 awesome skyboxes ?

• try it with some picture editors, like mspaint, photoshop, etc.
• check the size, resolution ... etc. some little skill is needed.

Thanks, but i tryed to use GCFScape to open .vpk files of the L4D2 and seems that shows the file as empty a have the latest version of the GCFScape, it seems that google doesn't offer to much answers of converting the L4D 3D Sky for HLDS and this command
Open up the console and type "mat_envmaptgasize 256", hit Enter. its not a valid command in left 4 dead 2, anyone can offer some help or some answers :-?

if you can open a picture with a picture editor, then to convert it will be easy. it's like sound (.wav, .mp3, ... mono, stereo, bit rate, .. etc.).
also, i don't know anything about source stuff, report your thread to be in the off-topic section if you want, you'll have more chances to catch some source users.
