Hey, I've got an interesting question to pose to you guys. I help run several large TF2 servers for a rather sizable clan (100+ admins), but we still end up with times where admins are online, but cannot get into the game and watch to make sure everything is going all right. However, they DO have internet access, and access to sourcebans.

With that explanation done, my question is as follows: would it be possible to get sourcebans set up to act sort of like HLSW in that it will display chat and console output, but restrict what the user in sourcebans can do as far as running console commands based on permissions in sourcebans?

I've got a question regarding rcon password to be set in the SB server-config: is it really safe to put it there and its not readable for other, outstanding people?

@ ulx: if nobody has access to your database, who should not have, it's safe of course.

sourcebans is unable to connect to my server why is that? and the sourcebans is also for some reason not running on my server, i put all configuration necessary.

without any details you will not get any help. tell me more, please? error messages? logs? what's your problem exactly?

Why is it that your tracker site will load some days but not others? Always wondered...

Anyway, not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere but we used to have 9 servers and they all were in a group. I removed a server by hitting the "delete" button in "» Home » Admin Panel » Server management". So now we only have 8 servers, however, the group still says we have 9. Not only that but when you click on the group, the drop-down menu pops down and says "Server Names - Please wait!" but it never loads... (not sure if the two issues are related or not)

I see that you could remove the server from group before deleting it, but it should remove itself upon deletion.

K it seemed it wouldnt connect on site because I had to open ports.

Where can I find the error logs for the sourcebans on my server? (what directory i mean) because it's not running for some reason, sourcemod is installed and running fully though.
