stay away from darkstarllc. they require you to submit a ticket to have your server updated when tf2 updates are released and you cant do it yourself from there heavily modified tcadmin. last tf2 update that came out took exactly 29 hours to do because i have to submit tickets asking for it to be updated.

You could go with gameservers. They are alright, but do not expect anything amazing if you plan on running resource intensive things on your server. But for a regular server, they are pretty good with a nice price.

i heard that gameservers network is pretty bad. i know of 2 communities that used them and left them because they were so bad and they had been with them for years. he said they were circling the drain and he was going to another host
i avoided them when we bought ours because we too noticed horrible lag at peak hours so.
