Hate to bring up an old thread, but I'm trying to put this plugin on my server. Having an issue getting it loaded.

Log reads:
23:49:50 L 02/03/2009 - 00:49:49: [AMXX] Zlib error encountered: -2(78874)
23:49:50 L 02/03/2009 - 00:49:49: [AMXX] Failed to allocate memory (plugin "dod_deathnades_H.amxx")

I've got ham enabled in the modules list, and it runs fine. I also tried the non-ham version of the plugin but I get the same memory error.

What could cause this? Thanks in advance for any help!

From what I understand, that error tends to indicate you need a newer version of Amxmodx, or the plugin needs to be compiled with an older version compiler.

what file or files do i put these in for this to work, tia?

Quote:
Command:
amx_dod_deathnades <#|?> (0 - 4, default = 2)
0 = Disables the plugin
1 = Drop 1 nade of YOUR TEAM'S type
2 = Drops up to 2 nades of ANY type (default)
3 = Drops up to 3 nades of ANY type
4 = Drops ALL nades of ANY type
(Note: Of course, nades are only dropped if you have them)

CVARS:
dod_deathnades_life <##> - Life (in seconds) of the grenade after its dropped (Default 20)
dod_deathnades_say <0|1> - Announce to killer, in chat, that victim dropped grenades (Default 1)
dod_deathnades_wpn <0|1> - Don't drop a grenade if killed by a grenade or rocket (Default 1)
dod_deathnades_use <0|1> - Force players to press the 'use' key to pick up grenades (Default 0)
dod_deathnades_glow <0|1> - Give dropped nades a 'glowing' effect to help recognition.(Default 0)

You only need those if you want it configured different than the default. Get it running properly with the default settings first and then ensure you want to alter the settings.

BTW, use the Hamsandwich version. The online compiler is messed up on the standard "non-Ham" version.

Place the CVars you want changed from default in your /addons/amxmodx/configs/amxx.cfg file.

Arkshine was right. I re-uploaded the source and it compiles now. So you can use either version. Very strange indeed.

---- Update Notice ----
RECOMMENDED UPDATE !

The plugin was updated with new options and a minor bug fix.
Recommended update - See 1st post.

Updated again on 10/14 to correct incorrect glow-nade colors caused by a bug in the newer dodfun module.
