Here's a new version which was compiled for the upcoming version of SourceMM. Don't use it if you're not running SourceMM 1.2. If you don't want to register to download the plugin, here's a link which may or may not work: http://i.dackz.net/pending_mm.zip.

The only real change is that the kick message doesn't end with a period.

Here's a non-SourceMM version of the plugin. This was pretty easy to convert. I might be able to condense the two into one code base! Or even more deviously, I could make a single binary that functions as a regular plugin and a SourceMM plugin!

were do you put these files at?

Windows server with source mod on it and mani for sourcemod

i am assuming the .dll and the .so go in addons but what about the other files?

copy folder from zip file to /csds/cstrike/addons/pending_mm

then

The correct line to add to get this mod working in the "addons/metamod/metaplugins.ini" file is "addons\pending_mm" leave off the _i486.so

Can anyone confirm if this is still an exploit? I'm wondering if I can remove this plugin from my server. Can't recall if a steam update finally addressed this or not.

I dont kown if it is still a exploit but mani admin pluggin also has this code in the plugin.. so maybe it is still an exploit.

This issue has been fixed for some time and was releated to a bug in the valve update that avoided the steam clients as well as non-steam releases (rips) to validate with the VAC server. This plugin isn't needed at the moment, so i would disable it. But if Valve might break something again, it might come in handy again, so i wouldn't delete it completly.

And it's no exploit, it has been a bug caused by Valve, and some people exploited it by using a non-steam version to cheat because they can't get banned.
