Why a client should know about the server details???

First thing in my mind would be to know that he is on an updated server.
Second: why should a client not know what server-version is running.
Also in a status the server-version is shown. Will you also hide the status command?

There is no reason to hide this info. It tells the client if they are connecting to an updated server. Also, most players don't check their console when they connect, so they don't see this info anyways. What are you trying to hide? (I have asked this question to myself every time you post...)
