It wouldn't be very difficult to write a custom plugin (using friendly.inc) that grants noclip and takes it away based on TF2Friendly_IsFriendly(client). I'm planning on adding some better forwards and natives to better facilitate things like this.

Another suggestion for a custom plugin with this is Friendly Targeting. like your class process targeting.

@friendly and such already exist within the main plugin. I think the first post covers them at the end of the "Commands" spoiler'd section. I am planning on separating it once I finally get around to doing some actual work on this shit.

must've over read it
EDIT:
another suggestion is using this with the zone mod, making it so only friendly's can enter a zone.

EDIT: Sorry it was my fault. I realized i had set the sm_friendly command to 'deny' in admin groups file. It is working perfectly now. Thanks for your help!

PS: What is the easiest way to tie sm_friendly with sm_resize. (So when a player resizes them self, it also activates the friendly mode, when they resize to normal, it deactivates the friendly mode). I am a bit noob when it comes to this, so any advice is appreciated!

ah lolol

The easiest way would be to edit the resize players plugin to use the natives provided by friendly.inc. I'm going to see if I can't get the resizeplayers plugin creator to add some natives/forwards of his own, so a third-party plugin that sits in between the two plugins can be easily created.

If you're willing to figure out a way to replace the texture of the TF2 players who are friendly, I'll make gray versions of the textures.

Uploading new version 14.0203.0. It is attached to this post, has been pushed to the server that Updater downloads from, and will soon replace the version in the first post in this thread. Changes include:
  • Added 9 new forwards and 1 new native. See friendly.inc for more info! This finally marks the beginning of the splitting of the plugin into multiple optional modules, which will make things easier to maintain.

  • Added cvar sm_friendly_botignore with default value of "1". When enabled, Friendly players will be invisible to bots (and perhaps skeletons.) This does not apply to bosses. BIG THANKS TO TYLERST AND HIS [TF2] Bot Ignore PLUGIN!!!

  • Removed block comments from friendly.cfg. This should stop the apparent console UNKNOWN COMMAND *********** spam on the plugin loading.

  • A few insignificant optimizations.

Please let me know if you run into any issues. Please also consider installing Updater if you haven't already!

Please note that the next update will remove backwards compatibility for the weapon blocking cvars. 0 and 1 will no longer represent "disabled" and "use default list" respectively; instead you will need to use -2 in place of 0, and -1 in place of 1.

If your config files are using 0/1 with the intention to use disabled/defaultList, this function of the plugin will break next update.

Is there a quick way in blocking ALL weapons with friendly mode active?
