give me some time, i did some more testing and got it working, just need to clean up the code a bit and make sure there aren't any issues then i'll post it in the snippets section. it may only work in css though.

predicted_viewmodel creates 2 times player spawn and that's all

if someone has the time they could reinstate the shield into css ;p, theres even a kill icon for it.

Massive two year bump here. I took a new shot at this recently, and succeeded.

I tested out one of the method I mentioned in blodia's topic, and that was to use two of every animation inside the view model to reset m_flCycle client-side.

You can see the result here (CS:GO) and here (DOD:S)

I have also tested in CS:S, so I am assuming it works in all source games.

While the plugin is pretty simple, the work of creating the view model is a bit of a mess. I'm thinking of releasing this as a plugin soon, anyway. It may be fun for some users
