Okay. I know that I don't have any personal hate with xPaw neither with any other moderator on this forum. I was banned because I had violated rules.

I knew that a ban was possible for promoting nonsteam links.
But believe me I was NEVER serious when I wrote those, because of I failed to type "sarcasm" at the end of my post, I rewarded a ban!

I thought fysiks got me, since I saw Moderkey's reply, I was stunned.
Btw, Moderkey. I also read somewhere that "acting" like an admin/mod is also violation of rules.

However, this is not the point. What about other people on the same thread who posted links, almost all of them support nonsteam somehow, one of the member posted a biggest/largest ns community. You didn't banned him? A rule and punishment should be equal for all members regardless of the region/religion.

Many people even mods here contribute to the nonsteam communities (though I won't name them), you just need a little bit of acting ability to survive.

I also know that newly born moderators are much more in-charged and excited about their privileges, they just don't have control over their nerves perhaps that's the reason why I got banned w/o any warning.

I always love mods behavior here like Exolent, they're tend to be pretty friendly and helping rather than pointing us out. Just behave like a normal member. Ever since Asserken, xPaw, Seta00. They just don't give a damn to ignore mistakes. Why it's like this?

He knew the rules. Besides the mods don't have to give a warning, he's lucky it was just temporary ban.

Moderators do not have ban privileges. Administrators do.
The only exception to that was YamiKaitou, but he's no longer here.

Warnings do not need to be issued.
The rules are at the top of the forum everywhere you go.

I will back up NAQQASH on his claim that "acting like a moderator" is against the rules.
This rule was part of the old rule set, before BAILOPAN trimmed down the rules quite drastically.
Basically, you can inform people when they are breaking rules, but don't try to act like you can do anything about it.

When reading your posts between you and fysiks, I thought you could have been being sarcastic.
However, it was quite clear fysiks wasn't joking around.
Although it's not against the rules, joking like you're supporting Non-Steam can be seen as actually supporting it.
It's just not a good idea to be joking about that kind of stuff which is so controversial.

Thank you for clearing that mods don't have privileges to ban people.

I'm not a valued member neither I've any contribution to this community so warning is not the issue, but then again this is what I felt after earning a ban. I remember somewhere I posted a porn picture (I didn't but because of hot-link it turned from a funny picture to a naked one).

Some mod deleted that and said these sort of pictures aren't allowed here, he at least confirmed it, and I apologized about that.
He actually gave me a chance to defend my point of view.

When I say warning I meant that one who banned me could've deleted my post, so I would've considered that as a warning, like others did so.

He never gave a reason or a notice to his leaving.
I've seen him around other places, so he's still on sometimes.

No offense to you at all NAQQASH and I am not exactly referring to you but showing people where you can go to have non-steam supported is just adding to the problem of non-steam.
Piracy is a cancer that spreads like a virus. I was surprised the thread wasn't disintegrated immediately, I was also a little surprised you got banned by the way.
