Is it possible to send single or all users pre defined popup message, like they get on server quit?

like that popup:

"you have been disconnected
reason: server quit"

and then click "ok" to close it..

That wasn't his point, Dizzy. He was using it as an example. He wants to be able to pop up a dialog box LIKE that one but with his own message.

Isn't it easier to just send a private message?

Well, the idea is to send short "pre-defined message here" to single / all players via popup message.. (click ok to continue)
and the question: is this possible ?

and those amx_psay messages are so easily missed/ignored..

(since nobody reads the motd message anyway, they just press enter soon as the window appears)

unless, there is a way to disable "ok" button from the motd window for first ~5sec ? (so you have to read the motd for those 5sec's before you can close it..)

I understand what you want, Silli. You want the user to have to acknowledge that they saw the message. The MOTD window is probably the closest you can get.

Are you trying to make sure the user has read something before entering the game? I.E Rules? If so, I would go with what Brad said.

He wants to show a message to players while they are in the game, like you would with amx_psay. However psay'd messages are easily lost in the clutter of chat so he wanted to pop up a window in their face with a message so they couldn't miss it.

There are plugins that will allow you to do this, with a MOTD window.
