I'm trying to write a sourcemod plugin for Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, which will disable the secondary fire ( double shot ) of shotgun. So on my server when player does right-click with shotgun, either nothing will happen, or more ideally, a single shot will be fired.

I think what the plugin need to do is:
1. Detect when player uses secondary fire with shotgun.
2. Stop the secondary fire.
3. Turn it into a primary fire instead, if possible.

However although I have some experience in writing plugins with SourcePawn, I'm pretty lost on this one. I don't know where to look in the docs.So can anyone point me a direction of things I should check in the docs, or maybe some nicely written plugins with similar functionality, and so on?
