Well there is Battlefield 2 ranking mod out there with source (http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=442260). Could anybody make a mod that would include CoD 4 Ranking and Perks system? Well this i way, way more advanced than BF2 ranking system, and this would kick-ass.

This script should include:
- Levels
- Ranks

- Perks (About same perks as CoD4 has, not every perk is possiple to make for CS)
- Weapon upgrades?

Well what about all these perks? Oh and who havn't played Call Of Duty 4 and dont know anything about perks...they can be earned while you are having new lvl's.

Well..perks...there are 3 kind of perks...you can have 3 perks at time. Perk1, perk2, perk3. Needed lvls for perk are in "()".

Perk 1:
Bomb Squad (14)
Well, with this perks you should see glow over any Flash, Smoke and Nade what has been trowed. And well...if there would be possiple to get mines or something to CS, you should see them too with Glow or with addional message or smth.

C4 Explosives x2 (2)
Well, lol i dont know how this should workout...there might be plugin out there...bomb with remote control or smth. Donno...i'll search for it later.

Claymore x 2
Pretty much as above...there is mine plugin outthere, http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=11483.

RPG-7 x 2
Haha, lol there is this "RocketLauncher" plugin. http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=178286 you could use thisone in your plugin.

Special Grenades x 3
Heh, 3 Smoke and 3 Flash nades.

Frag x 3 (41)
Heh, 3 HE nades but there should be kind of "Anti-Nade Spam restriction"

Bandolier (32)
Extra ammo...2X would be nice.

Perk 2:

Juggernaut
Heh, 150 HP.

Sleight of Hand (20)
You can reload your weapon lot faster.

Stopping Power
Dont know...10-20% bigger damage per bullet.

UAV Jammer (11)
Useless.

Sonic Boom
Your nades will have 25% bigger damage.

Overkill (3
2 Primary weapons at once...but no secondary. http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=436583 This plugin should help.

Double Tap (29)
Double firing speed. I have noidea how this would be done in amxx.

Perk 3:
Extreme Conditioning
In Cod4 it let's you sprint longer but in CS it would be nice if your running speed would be increased for about 20%

Steady Aim
This should make your weapons have lesser recoil...i have noidea how this would be done.

Last Stand (
In CoD4 this makes you fall down after you run out oh HP (instead of dieing) but in CS it would be smth that after you lose 100hp you will have 20 Extra HP but this will run out automatically after few seconds...2hp per second? I dont know...

Deep Impact
In CoD4 this helps your bullet's penderate (Probably spelled wrong...aKa Shoot thru wall) more walls...in CS this could be done too, somehow...i sugess you have this plugin http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=418409 at first but when you use this perk, you are allowed to shoot thru wall's as usually...i dont know if this can be done on 1 person only.

Dead Silence (44)
Your steps will not be heard, haha.

Iron Lungs (26)
In CoD4 this makes your aim "bump" less when scoping but there is no use for this perk in CS.

Eavesdrop (35)
You can hear enemy's radio chatting (like sv_alltalk 1) when having this perk...but since CS's inbult radio isnt much popular...this might be not worth developing...but well whoknows.

Martyrdom (17)
When you die, there will be nade on your body and this will explode after 1-5 Seconds (Random) you die. Shouldn't be hard to make...Warcraft Mod and Superhero Mod both have this option if i remeber that well...

And that's it for perks.

Well and there is Rank list...im not sure about those titles but here you can see this XP Requires list...usually making this is pain in the ass.

Weapon Upgrades
In Call Of Duty 4 there are all those FANCY weapon-upgrades...Red Dot Sights and so-on, most of them wouldn't be possiple. But what would be?

Glock's 3 Burst mod
You would have to earn few level before you could switch firing mode to Burst.

Usp Silencer
You would have to earn few levels before you could stick on silencer to Usp.

M4A1 Silencer
Same as above.

Lase Sight
Laser Sight (http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=518900)?

Zoom for few rifiles?
There is mod out there that allows player's to zoom with every weapon. (http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=518900)

Some more ideas...well.

This thing would be HUUGE if:
This is programmed well.
This has over interner database. (No option of invidual database...every XP you make is listed to 1 Database that is used by all user's of this plugin.)
There is no source avalibe for this mod.

I would help 100% with this mod, creating communuty, advertising this...even looking for sponsors or being sponsor myself...only thing i suck at is programming.

How would you make it use a single database? Unless you got special permission to make it closed source.

Other people can open up the source-code, find the sql username and password and edit their stats as much as they like.

pRed, is this allowed to make Source with little modifications? That modded Source can only use it's own database...but when you download plugin, this will use this "single" database?

flyeni6 you are great scripter, tell me if you want any help or ideas...i think we should make seperate forum for this Plugin and stuff (if that's allowed), ive got webspace...

@Idea: Mh... I thing that such a mod would be like the BF2 mod and apart from the abilities it would be almost the same :-/

No, it defenetly wouldnt. Cod4 mod would of be way more advanced as you can see...me personally think that this mod could go as big as Warcraft (Popularity).

Bump. I'm going to make website and little forum for this plugin, fleny6 is developing that right now but he dont have much time to make it...i have found another developer too but he hasn't reply'd jet...anyways is there someone that would like to help us to create this plugin? Any help is waited.

Im working on this. Now Ive got a lot done on it. About 50 or 60 % Im still trying to work on some other things to go along with it. Im in the process of moving so Give it allitle bit and I will Show you what I have.

Just wondering who will be keeping the ONE DATABASE that will keep all the stats and if he or she is willing to keep it for as long as this mod is being used? For all I know, most people here can't even keep 'their' website/forum up for a month. Even when they say they are 'dedicated' to it. I'm not shutting the idea of a COD4 mod down, but that single database suggestion is already shouting a big FAIL.

Unless you have the resources to keep that single database up for as long as this mod is being used, go for it. Honestly I don't think you have so it might just be better it's just local to the server itself.
