Anyone aware of the client side error:

Failed to create decoder for MP3 [ file.mp3 ]
This is an error that spams in my TF2 client console and causes the game to crash (out of memory crash).
I was wondering if anyone knew what causes this and if there is a fix.

The facepunch thread here discusses this but has no solutions yet.

Perhaps is this related to precaching sound files?
