This is a port of Botman's Stripper2 utility for Half-Life 1. You can add any type of entity - hostage, spawn point, physics prop, permanently to the map. You can also filter out entities for deletion, either by specific entries or regular expressions.

Stripper:Source lets you define global rules and per-map rules. It also lets other plugins (both SourceMM plugins and Server Plugins) use its API.
I havent tested the stripper yet is it easy to use like the one Austin posted ?

the one Austin posted was very simple u load up bsp and add line and save some like that.

Austin, the HL2 codebase is completely different... and that's not even HL1, that's HL1+MM. It's probably not a good idea to post things like that here until you've researched the differences ;)

Ok, Your right. It is pointless to post the hl1+mm stuff since it is of no practical value. My intention was to generate some interest in and finding out how to create entities in maps. Thanks a bunch for stripper for mms! Any chance you will add a feature the hl1+mm stripper had of being able to clone brush models?

The program to modify the entity portion of HL2 maps is called
EntEd.

I have tested this on every default maps that ships with css and it works fine no trouble at all. You can do a search on ented + counter strike or use this link. These folks are doing some cool things with it.
