An iPhone is useless unless jailbroken, and even then, not all too great. If you absolutely must have something touchscreen of the Apple variety, go with an iPod Touch. For the person that said flash is supported for the newer iPhone, I don't believe that is correct. The closest it comes to flash is the built in YouTube player, which can only be used to search for and watch YouTube movies.

I have a G1 and a Sidekick 2008, both are great phones. I have some experience with other phones that use Windows Mobile, and while they are pretty good, I just can't bring myself to part with either of my own phones. However, the Sidekick 2008 lacks a 3G network, and therefore, should be eliminated from consideration.

G1 hands down. I just wish it had a tad bit better build quality to it, but everything else is fine.

i never actually liked n96...but n95 king? pfft its all about the n85 now

How does the N85 beat the N95? It doesn't have anything the N95 doesn't have, after looking through the specifications. The N97 has a resistive touch screen which basically defeats the purpose of having it in the first place. On top of that, it's not going to ship to North America for a while.

i have to hold the n97 in my hands before i say anything...i get phones from hong kong so i don't have worry how long it will take for rogers/fido to bring them and of course they come out much cheaper

you have them give them some props for finally getting the symbian touch UI on their phones lol.

well i don't focus on looks, i just consider performance and capabilities and android seems to striking!

If you like plastic cellphones and a very similar UI to the Omnia/Touchwiz, then get the G1.
