It's your code so I'm sure you know it. The results I was talking about were from the "voice" example program. It's not doing anything when I activate voice chat when I'm dead or spectating. Do you, or anyone reading this, get a different result?

I can speak with and hear other clients that are dead. So how would this be explained? Do we jump from Client/Server into P2P as soon as a player dies? That would seem very unlikely. And what about alltalk?

I guess I need to do some more experimenting with Voicehook and different server settings to see if I can get the desired result. Any ideas anyone comes up with would be greatly appreciated.

Try setting voicehook_debug to 1 and watching the console while trying.

Still wondering if this is possible...

It would also be nice to figure out if it is possible to make a program that allows an admin to listen in on voice outside of the game.

There are ways, like saving the voices in a file, then uploading that, etc.

Broke on the CS:S/Windows update. The engine should be in sync now, was this working for TF2 already?

Edit: According to iBot, it's broken on the latest TF2 as well. New sigs all around!

I asked Asherkin about it the day it broke, and although he is now aware, it is apparently low down on his to-do list compared to other things, and since the sigs for this are self-contained rather than in another file, I don't think anyone but him can fix it, right?

Awesome! thanks so much

edit/Note: Learn from my mistake and don't late-load this. Your server will crash, in all likelihood.
