Nice, now we just need a way to fix ignite on hit for weapons that dont start with it.

The above PRESERVE_ATTRIBUTES change should also help with the ignite thing.

I'm not sure, but you might need both OVERRIDE_ATTRIBUTES and PRESERVE_ATTRIBUTES for creating items (as in `OVERRIDE_ATTRIBUTES` becomes `OVERRIDE_ATTRIBUTES | PRESERVE_ATTRIBUTES` in the above example).

(in CW3) I tried that but it still doesnt work.

This crash was caused by a bad model animation.
One known cause is the Thermal Thruster weapon switch animation introduced in the Jungle Inferno TF2 update.

From my understanding, the only way to avoid that animation crash is to first remove all of a player's weapons, then switch their class, then give them new weapons. In particular, if a player is a Heavy or Pyro and is switched to Sniper without their weapons being removed, the crash occurs.
I'll see about a small patch to fix this issue, if I can.

EDIT: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=2606929 will fix crash, but see main post for a link to a rewrite of this plugin
