I am currently conceptualizing a new plugin for HL2 after some requests.

The idea is simple.

The current system without sv_alltalk, is as follows.

• All alive players can speak with dead and alive players of the same team.
  All dead players can only speak with dead players on the same team.

My plugin will hopefully add the following...

• Allow all dead players to voice communicate with each other, regardless of team.
  Allow players to specify one single player to voice communicate with.
  Allow alive players to communicate with all dead players regardless of team.

This is if current beta testing goes well, I am currently still waiting on the results.

This is a discussional thread which I hope will allow for thoughts on current plans and maybe some new ideas.

I have also attached a poll on the name, suggestions are very welcomed at this extremly early stage.

Sounds good, esp the single person thingy. Keep it open for customization but make sure its easy for players to see what settings are set. BEcause I hate joining a server and never knowing who's hearing me!

Individual ability to turn off the function (meaning your own voice chat stays "local" even when dead)
Also a vote for enable function...
and the other requests I don't remember, but I'm sure you have them written down somewhere.
