I have tried to get up a L4D2 dedicated server from some time now. But it always shows itself a a LAN server, and my friends receives a ''Server is not responding'' message when they tries to connect. I used this guide, and I already forwarded the necessary ports. Any idea?

Have you tried sv_lan 0 in the autoexec.cfg or start up line ?
