I got this idea from shutdownday.org

What if we made a shutdown day for Counter-Strike protesting the ads? Showing how much Valve needs the CS community.

Ideas?

Someone already suggested that before... Valve probably won't give a shit unless we do something more like a shutdown month?

if we had a shutdown week valve would care.

When they see their charts start going from thousands of people online to a few hundred for a week, they would either think they messed up an update, or actually look into why people arent playing.

Also the chances of getting that many people to make a point, is severly impossible.

Not suggested? Maybe replacing every one of their employees... But not shutting it down.

Yep, you go do that... I'll be at home watching the news when you're arrested...

I was thinking more along the lines of shooting missiles at employees from another country. We'll be safer from US authorities that way...

And WHERE does valve make money off of players playing? It's a 10 year old game, they don't give a shit about us anymore. We stop playing, and it will turn into RC. Empty and Desolate server list with no one playing. Doing that will just make everyone else quit when they see barely anyone's playing, and most likely will go buy CSS. Oh wait that will profit valve... Maybe the ads are to piss us off enough to get CSS?
