Well, yeah, but I don't play it.

Also, when you delete GameMenu.res it should get the info from counter-strike.gcf so obviously something else is wrong.

If you have HL menu, it means that you have no-steam, so you can ask for support on another site ;)

Just to be fair...he has posted nothing referring to non-steam. Even legit steam users can join non steam servers these days even with protocol 47 without even knowing it.

But, if you delete the GameMenu.res it will go back to normal. For him it didn't so something is up.
