Dedicated server won't start - Page 3

i give the fuck up... theres nothing to do about this, metamod is unstable and bottom line, everyone who has the same problem wont get CS working with these mods installed. for dedicated server i was able to install admin mod thats all. ill give this another try on dedicated server...

btw how do i add admins for dedicated servers in user.ini with amx!?
i only know how to for listen servers!

just get the folder from the above link, it is all pre installed in the folder, if you don't want to use it, look at it for the right way to do it

thanks for ur help dude. i did look at the folder and all of its files. its exactly how ive done it, but it just wont work. i have yet to test it out on a dedicated server, but for listen it wont work and theres nothing to do about it. im actually tryin ur install folder as we speak on my other comp.

yea, it is for dedicated not listen, listen is amx 9.9 but many heros wont work

have you tried it without metamod? are you using metamod 1.17.2

are you sure you installed it correctly?

maybe your computer just can't handle being a server? but it seems more like you arent doing something correctly...

I noticed you are running the dedicated server through steam, that is the shitty POS way of doing it.

go to the downloads and get the REAL dedicated server package and use that, much easier.

And BTW you said you can only get adminmod to work, and metamod is unstable and wont work? get a clue, adminmod runs off metamod. Metamod is not unstable, nubs who don't know what they are doing just like to break things.

ye those error logs were when i was tryint to run a server for me and a couple buddies pleasure. this all works fine when i make a dedicated server and i doubt that my comp cant handle being a server lol. maybe its something with my windows or hardware. heres my info

hardware has nothing to do with anything....
you can run a HLDS server on a P3 500 Mhz with 128mb of ram no sound card and a shitty ass video card. (I have done it)

so.... it works as a ded server? what are you tryng to start? a listen server? those are lame and rarly work.
