I had this problem earlier and adding a 1 second delay to assigning tags seemed to fix it (in testing). I think I'll extend this delay to 10 seconds and that should take care of it.

It happens because the country tag is assigned before the client loads his own tag (from steam friends?). Try the new version and see how it works.

Edit: Although the above update will probably work, I have found a much more reliable way to assign a tag to a client. A new version will be up in a day or so.

I recommend anyone using this plugin to upgrade to the latest version. All problems with assigning tags should be solved.

Technical details: OnClientSettingsChanged is forwarded when a client finishes loading their own tag.

When I try to compile:

countrytags.sp(5) : fatal error 120: cannot read from file: "cssclantags"

Everything is in place and correct permissions...

EDIT: I got the attached SMX, however keeping this open from pure curiosity.

I have downloaded the complied file from this thread, but it does not work for me. Can someone please compile this in linux for me. I have a rented linux server, and can not complie the source on it.

Are you missing the gamedata file mentioned in the installation instructions?

I can not find a cfg file for the cvars. Where can is setup the cvars? Simple in the server.cfg?
