Open bspconvar_whitelist.txt and add a line that says:

Code:
	say	1

Apparently this command is not working anymore for me, when a message should appear, the server crashes.

Still works for me, do you have any logs of the crash?

Works fine for me still, the file was overwritten in the last update so all I needed to do was add it again. If you're missing a whitelist file you have all sorts of issues

Never mind update made a new one. re added it. Messages will appear in console then shutdown LOG:
Console: : Welcome to Minecraft World, where gravity does not apply
L 08/18/2013 - 21:150: "Console<0><Console><Console>" say ": Welcome to Minecraft World, where gravity does not apply "
Missing shutdown function for Sys_InitAuthentication() : Sys_ShutdownAuthentication()

Can you share your whitelist?

Unloading all the plugins and loading them again solved the issue...

It's the stock whitelist with a new line added that says:

say 1

Nothing secret ;)
