    The Repair Node

    What is the repair node?

The repair node is a scrapped engie buildable. It was going to replace the dispenser.

    Cvars:
    Code:
Repair_node_regen_amount_level1:(Default 15) The amount of health it heals per 2 seconds, at level 1.
Repair_node_regen_amount_level2:(Default 20) The amount of health it heals per 2 seconds, at level 2.
Repair_node_regen_amount_level3:(Default 30) The amount of health it heals per 2 seconds, at level 3.
Repair_node_force: (Default 0) Whether or not to force players to use the node.
Repair_node_enabled: (Default 1) Whether or not to allow players to use the node.
Repair_node_donator: (Default 0) If 1, requires the custom admin flag #1 to be on a client to use the node
Repair_node_ad_time: (Default 120) If non-0, info about the Repair Node will show every X seconds.
    How do I use it?
    Well, just type:
    Code:
    !nodeon
And you'll be able to use it! To turn it off, type:
    Code:
    !nodeoff
    And it will be off.

    What does it do?
    The repair node:
+Heals your buildings at a rate of 15/20/30 health per 2 seconds, depending on its level
    +Can be upgraded
-Cannot heal or give metal to other players
-The Repair Node has 70 health, as opposed to the Dispenser's 150.

Oh, that's strange. Does it have no texture, like in the video?

Iʻd be happy to give it some textures if you guys could figure out the folder/vmt file names that it canʻt find.

In actual fact. thatʻs the only thing stopping me, because when I set out to make it it has no vmt file present, so I have no idea what to name things.

Also, curious thought, what with it having 3 versions (presumably for building it up) does this plugin just utilize a static level 3 or something?

Just level 3. I already have someone making textures. Thanks though!

    Ah cool. Fair enough.

You might want to show them this if they have not seen it already.

    Itʻs a good base idea:

Ok, it now has textures! place them in your server folder and, if you have it, a FastDL!

Here's how it looks. I really like the textures on this, now if that antenna on top rotated that would be awesome! Would also like the healing beam being emitted to other buildings as well.

The texture's great an' all. But given I'd seen the picture I posted a ton of times. It feels a little out of place.

Naturally this is a personal preference only, and the texure provided is fantastic quality. However I remade them for my own server.

Feel free to add these as an alternative in the original post:

It also might be worth noting however, that on the original textures, the yellow/orange fuel tank, and the red/blue colors, are ever so slightly off when compared with the texture from the dispenser (the red and blue needed to be saturated a little more, and the yellow and orange needed to be desaturated).

Besides making the alternative texture, the other thing I did was make the vmt files a little more like the dispensers one. As it seemed odd not to follow the same in that.

Either way, love that you've done this!
