ok yesterday i upgraded the ram on my laptop to 1 gig. but they guy flipped it upside down while it was shuttin down to screw the top back on and ever since then about every 20 min or just randomly says beginning to dump physical memory and then i have to shut down by the power button and restart i cleaned about 2 gig worth of stuff but i have like 14.5 gig of memory free, it is strange i have defragged but i doubt that did anything. ps its for a windows 2000 professional laptop toshiba if that helps

u said u upgraded ur ram right?
did u install 'FreeRAM XP' cuz dat frees ur ram every 20 minutes (20 minutes depending on ur settings)

or u can restore ur comp by usin system restore
in da controlpanel/performance and meantinence
- Click 'System Restore'
- choose da checkpoint/day u want ur comp 2 be restored at (like choosing may 2nd will restore ur comp settings 2 da settings u had on may 2nd)
- Note: it wont delete/modify/move ur documents u saved

i bearly got a computer but it has like a few mega bits of memory
and its hella slow
so i use my older brothers computer which is like 10x better
