I would guess that it doesnt work because custom chat colors is modifying the return and adding stuff in it to color it. You can modify the quiz plugin to look for answers using StrContains instead, and that may fix it. When all else fails, add some logging into the plugin and I'm sure you will see the problem.

I think that is because the chat colors return space on chat:

Look: [ADMIN] HU3BR :&&chat teste

This a print for server, after name, give 2 spaces before the message, that is why it does not work?
