About : Why do bots not pick up Tier 3 weapons? Well, now they will.

How it works :
This plugin scans the map for any Tier 3 weapons, if a bot finds one, it'll pick it up.

- Fixed an oversight where bots who where carrying T3s would absolutely never pick up any items

Things to note :

- As we all know, M60s are automatically dropped and deleted when they run out of ammo, 
sometimes bots may pick these up as they get deleted, and instead it'll get deleted from their backs

Both.

Bots are unable to commit friendly fire, meaning no matter who the explosion lands on, they wont take damage.

HOWEVER, this does not apply to gas cans...

I found some issues:
When spotting ammo piles, if bot survivors are holding a GL, they will continuously try to pick up ammo.
They seemed to change between M60 and GL persistently if both weapons appeared in the same place, but I merely saw it once.

You may add two cvars to set maximum of bots pickup T3. In my past gameplay, all bots used M60 but they rapidly ran out of ammo, left a pistol or a melee weapon that couldn't defend themselves.

Can you make them prefer katanas over other melee weapons too?

What about letting bots grab chainsaws? That is another weapon, stoically ignored by most super_very_true_mlg_pro_players.
Also, maybe you should notice what version of l4downtown we have to use – this plugin didn't work with l4downtown 5.4.2.

The latest version of Downtown should be what you should be using.

IDK which version it is, but this plugin uses OnFindScavengeItem, so any version that has this forward should work.

But for some reason this plugin doesn't work at all. In the console it says that the plugin is functional but bots don't take the m60 nor the grenade launcher.
I have l4downtown and the last gamedata. Am I missing something ?

You may have the latest gamedata, but do you also have the latest version of downtown?

It should contain a forward named OnFindScavengeItem, which is what most of these plugins use.
