I've found that this plugin doesn't appear to work on TF2 servers hosted at gameservers.com. Unfortunately, I can't gather any more information about it.

It's intended to add one to the maxplayers count so that reserved players can still join when the server is full. Of course, for them to still really join, you also need CBaseServer.

It wont do that, theres no reason to add an extra slot on L4D since there are 14 already and 8 in use at one time max. Others are for bosses.

Lets please not turn this game into the mod fest like TF2 is now.. Its a real admin nightmare.

But if there are 14 available, how come we cant use 8 for survivors?

Because the game is hard coded for 4 survivors and 4 zombies. It would take an intense server hack to get by this limit since the game relys on the 4 survivor limit to work correctly.

Add "-debug" to the ./srcds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help with solving this problem

I am using Linux Gentoo when oil disabled TF2 server starts normaly. Added core dump files.
